Our group was able to work together to an consensus although many of the answers the were wrong. I assumed the leadership in the group, but everyone had fair say into the activity. Each person in our group was able to say at least one thing but some offered more than others. Our group probably died if going of the expert's list but I personally think we did pretty good. I learned that the most unconventional items you wouldn't think about could be the most important items, such as the compact mirror being the most important even above water (still don't agree though). We can use items or put ourselves into different siguations to build creativity and the engineering though process where everything can be made into something

Desert Survival Activity Reflection

Due: Aug 18, 2015

Today (8/14/15) you will do a group survival activity in class. You will receive a grade for the work with your group today.

Individually, you will complete the task below in Edmodo:

Consider the fact that you used the following standard in class: STEM-EC-6- Employ critical thinking skills and teamwork skills when working in groups to solve problems, to make decisions, achieve group goals and use team members’ talents effectively.

Team work is important in Engineering and Technology, but so is bringing individual knowledge. In Edmodo, answer the following questions in the comment section after you have hit the "turn in" button:

How did the group do in working together? Did some assume leadership of the group? Did everyone participate? Was the group able to come to consensus? etc. Do you think the group survived or died? What did you you learn from this activity, and how can you apply what you learned to the real world?
